Brigyn
3 Review: Taplas
Probably
nearer to Indie than folk, brothers Ynyr and
Eurig Roberts have in Brigyn 3 created an album
that, whilst using electronic gadgetry, has
nevertheless a natural organic feel, with perceptive
lyrics and appealing melodies. With numerous
supporting musicians, including Siân James
on backing vocals and Henry Sears on viola and
mandolin, favourite tracks include Kings, Queens,
Jacks and Paid â mynd i'r nos heb ofyn
pam with T.James Jones's translation of Dylan
Thomas's words.
